Family Law
Evgenia’s journey to Canada from Bulgaria at the age of twelve sparked a lifelong passion for world affairs, law, history, and languages. With an early ambition of becoming a diplomat, she pursued a Trilingual Honours BA in International Relations from York University’s Glendon Campus, graduating with distinction. Her studies, combined with time working in Spain, allowed her to achieve fluency in French, Spanish, and her native Bulgarian.
Building on her international focus, Evgenia earned an MA in International Development from the University of Guelph, where she also worked as a Teaching Assistant in political science. Her love of languages led her to several years in the translation industry, deepening her ability to bridge cultural and linguistic gaps—an asset that now informs her legal practice.
Evgenia obtained her JD from the University of Windsor in 2021, gaining hands-on experience through her work with Windsor-Essex Bilingual Legal Clinic, Community Legal Aid, and Legal Assistance of Windsor. Following her call to the Ontario Bar in 2023, she built a strong foundation in civil litigation before transitioning to family law, where her multidisciplinary background and compassionate approach help clients navigate life’s most personal legal challenges.
In her spare time, Evgenia enjoys reading thought-provoking works, including The Book of 900 Thoughts by Peter Dunov, Virus Mania by Torsten Engelbrecht, and History: Fiction or Science by Anatoly Fomenko.
